KAMANI is an all-star collective whose setlist showcases an advanced course in the history of funk. Curated by drummer Nikki Glaspie (Beyonce, Dumpstaphunk), the band features guitarist Kat Dyson (Prince), bassist Matt Lapham (Roosevelt Collier), drummer and percussionist Sput Searight (Ghost Note, Snarky Puppy) and keyboardist Dominic Xavior Taplin (Ghost Note). From artists like The Gap Band to James Brown and Parliament Funkadelic, KAMANI’s catalogue of funky deep cuts knows no bounds.
